How to bypass Google Account Verification (Factory Reset Protection)

How to bypass Google Account Verification for Any Android Mobile

Factory Reset Protection or FRP Lock for Google Account Verification was first introduced for Android 5.1 version. However, with the passage of time, this FRP Lock of Google Account Verification has become a big hassle for many who either purchase a second-hand phone on which this lock is enabled or those who get locked out of their phones because they forget the original ID and Password fed in it before performing a factory reset. Please note that the “Next” option on the Google Account Verification screen remains grayed out until you type in your e-mail/phone and password to verify your Account.

In the past, this could have been easily bypassed by just factory resetting the device.

Now, since Google introduced the new Google Account Verification or Factory Reset Protection (FRP) the phone becomes unavailable for use if the person performing the factory reset does not have the credentials of the Google Account that was previously logged on the phone.

After the phone has finished its factory reset it will reboot and you will be prompted to choose the desired display language. After choosing the correct language please follow the next steps:
  • Connect the phone to a Wifi Network (preferably your Home network)
  • The next screen will ask you for the Google Account
  • Tap the text field in which the account should be inserted until the Keyboard comes up
  • Depends on the mobile model & OS version open the keyboard settings in your keyboard.
  • Select Google Keyboard Settings
  • Tap on the 3 dots in the top part of the screen (or More depending on what Android OS you are running)
  • Select the Help&Feedback item and select any item in the list that will follow
  • Long press to select any text on this page and click on Websearch in the upper right corner
  • A search field will be shown (delete the text inside the search field)
  • Type Settings in the search field
  • Tap “Users”  then long press the “Guest” option.
  • Then your mobile switch off automatically and restart.
  • Now your phone was ready to use.
